Kimchi Grilled Cheese
INGREDIENTS:
2 Slices Bread of Choice
3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup Kimchi, Chopped
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
½ Tsp Sesame Oil
½ Cup Mozzarella
3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup Kimchi, Chopped
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
½ Tsp Sesame Oil
½ Cup Mozzarella
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add in 1 tablespoon of the butter and allow it to melt. Add the kimchi, brown sugar and sesame oil together and cook until it caramelizes. Remove from heat.
- Spread a generous amount of butter on both slices of the bread.
- Place one slice of the bread onto a pan over medium-high heat. Top with mozzarella and kimchi. Add one more layer of mozzarella and then place the last side of buttered bread on top.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and allow it to cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until they’re crispy. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until it is golden and crispy as well. Remove from pan, slice and enjoy!
